A couple of days ago we were all set to launch our Patreon page so we could share our process of bringing more of Gnome Hold Sagas to life with all of you lovely people who enjoy the universe. However, as we hit the publish button the gremlins in Patreons machine workings decided that us doing so was suspicious. This has meant that the page has disappeared off into the aether for the time being. We are hoping that it will materialise back soon, but fear that the one eyed God may be playing his games. The Magisters of the church of the silver spoon are making offerings, but Ramlin Tor has started bets down in the Gnome Market against it ever reappearing. Merwyn Atyol, scout extraordinaire, is out on the hunt with her Troupe so we may still hear some good news. We will let you know as soon as we hear anything.

With the move from Gydran Studio to Tree Cat Games, one of the things that was a necessity was to find our own space and step away from what was before. So, we packed up our bags, grabbed the whole Hold and migrated to a new Burrow that would be easier for us to manage. As you can see we are already settled in… mostly.

What to expect?

One of the things we wanted to do was give Gnomes: The Skirmish Game a proper launch. With that in mind we are looking into the possibility of a Kickstarter that would include the base game and an additional lore book about the world of Gnome Hold Sagas.

We are also looking into the possibility of a new way to make our Gnomes come to life. One thing we have decided though is that we won’t be offering and 3D STLs of our Gnomes. We are working on a new paper set that will be free to download in tge near future. So, keep an eye out for that!

We have been working away on Gnome Hold Sagas since  the December 26th 2022. After developing the core rules we released the Gnomes: The Skirmish Game out into the wild on February 1st 2024 and we are now currently working on the first expansion (currently set for a February 1st 2025 release date). With this in mind we wanted to create a space away from the busy pages of Gydran Studio where we could develop, and release everything Gnome Hold Sagas, and here it is. Though things may be thin on the ground right now we have loads of plans for the future including stories, new campaigns and previews of upcoming work. You’ll also be able to find links to other pages on the internet where we have pages for the world. One of these is the Gydran Studio Patreon where we release information to our Patrons as well as behind the scene looks at what we are doing long before we release it anywhere else.
